Tower condos offer amenities, view of parks, Lake

About 20 percent of the 344 condominiums
at 340 on the Park remain for sale. The 62-story tower by LR Development
Co. is located at 340 E. Randolph Drive in the developing Lakeshore East
area.
Remaining residences have one to three
bedrooms and range from 1,281 to 5,489 square feet. Prices begin at
$389,000. A palette of wood, glass and stone is used inside the
residences.
The modernist structure, by architects
Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates, offers unobstructed views of the
skyline and Lake Michigan, Millennium and Grant Parks and the park at
Lakeshore East.
The building will have an amenities floor
with a fitness center, 25-yard lap pool, clubroom, and winter garden
with large glass doors. Plans also call for more than 4,000 square feet
of retail space and six levels of underground parking.

- Fidelity Wes Builders is developing 88 lots in Ravenna in Long
Grove, which is set on the former Indian Valley golf course.
The wooded lots are priced from $255,000 to $410,000 and custom
residences from $800,000. They will have a minimum of 2,800 square feet
for a ranch plan and 3,200 square feet for a two-story design. Designs
typically offer four to five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 baths, formal
dining rooms, great rooms or family rooms with vaulted ceilings, full
basements and master bedroom suites.
Amenities and finishes include central air conditioning, three-car
garages, natural stone countertops, volume ceilings, recessed lighting,
hardwood flooring, whirlpool tub in master baths, hand-crafted
cabinetry, 9- to 12-foot first-floor ceilings, fireplaces, central

- Early deliveries and incentives are being offered at Northbridge, a
development of 435 single-family residences in Huntley by Concord Homes
and Lennar Chicago.
Concord's designs range from 2,500 to 3,467 square feet and have four
bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, basements and attached two- to three-car garages.
The two-story plans are base-priced from $320,490 to $376,990.
Lennar's floor plans range from 2,700 to 3,177 square feet and are
base-priced from $374,900 to $435,900. They have four or five bedrooms,
2 1/2 or three baths and three-car garages.
Several residences are available for delivery by the end of the year,
and buyers who finance through a preferred lender by Nov. 30 can save up
to $25,000.
To visit Northbridge, take Interstate Highway 90 to Route 47 and head
north. Turn left at Algonquin Road and follow signs to the development,
on the north side of the road.
